Hi I need to get a new electric hob and i want it to be induction .. and advice?

First things first!.. make sure your cookware is magnetic because they wont work on an induction hob if they are not!

I would recommend De dietrich for induction hobs the DTI714V http://www.rdo.co.uk/commodities/defaul ... &pid=25400
is a good one, touch control. But most makes do them these days.. Neff, Bosch AEG etc... they is no make that is really really bad as such

I've got the Fagor one .. so far so good! Defo heats up faster than gas, im impressed!

I went to Electrolux for a demonstration a couple of months ago. Their induction hobs were awesome - they managed to boil water in about 30secs. They have ones where you only need to cover the X for the hob to start heating because the electomagnetic field only heats up the area the pan is touching. You can cook anywhere on the hob surface as long as the X is covered, rather than inside a circular zone.
